Back in the Game – Bicyclist’s Memorial Elbow Surgery Keeps Him Rolling
Dan, a competitive bicyclist, was on a group ride when he crashed, rolled on his elbow and tore it open. He thought he was out of the game but Alex Fokin, MD, Orthopaedic Surgeon at Memorial Sports Medicine Center, performed surgery to clean his injury and reduce infection risk. Dan made a quick recovery, allowing him to get back on his bike and to his qualifying rides.
