Sometimes rough beginnings can lead to great outcomes.
Austin was born weighing 1 pound and 4 ounces with necrotizing enterocolitis, a condition that causes infection and inflammation of the intestine.
He fought through it and today he is an national honor student, a varsity athlete, a member of HOSA and just recently, a #JDCHAllStars Award recipient.
