FIT: Family In Training Program at Memorial Rehabilitation Institute
At Memorial Rehabilitation Institute, our FIT: Family In Training program enables you to safely be part of your family member’s care team.
Interested family members or caregivers chosen to participate are trained to assist patients at their bedside and in their room with activities that nursing, or therapy staff members might normally help with. It is a partnership we developed to increase patient safety by reducing falls or other injuries, and to help family members and caregivers feel more confident and comfortable.
