Yoenis Cespedes Gives Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital Patient A Ride in Lamborghini Aventador
Detroit Tigers outfielder Yoenis Cespedes visited Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and gave patient Kevin a ride in the star player’s Lamborghini Aventador.
During a small ceremony, Cespedes will met hospital administrators, staff and patients and made a $40,000 donation to the hospital in support of its efforts to help sick children in the community.
Cespedes and his family were drawn into the hospital’s network of service providers and friends when a family member needed special medical care, and he has since developed a strong interest in the work of the hospital and its community of supporters.
