Adaptive Beach Day Memorial Rehabilitation Institute & Sabrina Cohen Foundation
Memorial Rehabilitation Institute joined forces with the Sabrina Cohen Foundation to provide an Adaptive Beach Day for dozens of participants.
For patients who have become physically disabled due to a stroke, spinal cord or brain injury, amputation or other medical condition, re-adapting to life with a disability can be challenging—both physically and emotionally.
At the Adaptive Sports and Recreation Program at Memorial Rehabilitation Institute, we know the rehabilitation process involves more than just physical therapy. Our mission is to help those with physical disabilities go beyond by providing them with opportunities to become re-engaged with the community through a variety of adaptive activities, including wheelchair sports and other adaptive programs.
