Dr. Christopher Gannon: Surgical Oncology, Memorial Cancer Institute
Christopher Gannon, MD, FACS, is the medical director of the Division of Surgical Oncology with Memorial Cancer Institute.
He is a board-certified, fellowship-trained surgeon specialized in surgical oncology with expertise in cancers of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas. Dr. Gannon also provides surgical care for cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, soft tissues and skin. In addition to malignancies, Dr. Gannon provides comprehensive care for benign diseases of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas, including cysts, stones and biliary reconstruction. In order to treat these conditions, a minimally invasive approach is utilized whenever feasible, including the da Vinci robotic surgical system.
