Find Out if You’re Safe to Drive with Driving Program at Memorial
The Driving Program at Memorial Rehabilitation Institute helps people determine if they are safe to drive and to maintain their independence.
The program assesses the driving abilities of those with cognitive changes due to traumatic events, like a stroke or brain injury; or progressive diseases and aging that are affecting driving ability.
A prescription with a medical diagnosis is needed to access the program. Participants receive both clinical and behind-the-wheel assessments to determine if they are safe to drive, need any vehicle adaptations or need recommendations for community resources.
