In America, almost 3 million people are addicted to opiates and Broward County is no exception. “The Opioid Crisis” is a segment from our Moving Health Forward with Memorial Healthcare System half-hour special that aired on NBC 6. In this segment, see how Memorial provides treatment and care for people in our South Florida community who are addicted to opioids, regardless of their ability to pay. This segment also highlights our program provides women who have opioid use disorders the opportunity to detoxify and deliver their babies drug-free.
