Weight-Loss Surgery at Memorial Helped Ray Overcome Diabetes
After trying many weight-loss programs, bariatric surgery at Memorial helped Ray overcome his diabetes and other health problems.
Brett Cohen, MD, Chief of Bariatrics, performed a sleeve gastrectomy, removing a portion of Ray’s stomach.
The surgery helps Ray eat less and he’s enjoying life and his renewed mobility after losing 100 pounds. He says his only regret is not going through the procedure earlier.
