When Latoya Roberts suffered a stroke at 26 years of age, she was unaware of what was happening to her.
By the time she arrived at the hospital, she couldn’t speak or communicate. The Stroke Team at Memorial Regional Hospital began working and diagnosed the stroke immediately, administrating treatment and saving her from neurological deficit at her young age.
Three months later, Latoya stroke out again, but this time at the hospital and she understood what was happening. Again, fast treatment and recognition of symptoms save her life.
